Melissa brings more than 16 years of hands-on experience as a massage therapist and 9 years of experience in massage education. Her background in learning design, human resources, and business management gives her a unique perspective on both the practice of massage and how people actually learn.

Her approach to massage is practical, therapeutic, and focused on problem-solving. She specializes in hot stone therapy and therapeutic techniques, with an emphasis on helping therapists work effectively without relying on excessive pressure or unnecessary strain.

As an educator, Melissa is passionate about making massage education approachable, useful, and grounded in real-world experience. She believes good education should give therapists tools they can actually use—not just more information to memorize.

Outside of massage and education, Melissa enjoys archery, hiking, and leather crafting. She brings the same curiosity, creativity, and focus to her hobbies that she brings to her work.
